How to get to Yelapa, Mexico and Casa Isabel or Los Naranjos

1. Fly into Puerto Vallarta (NOTE: airfare to Puerto Vallarta is not included).
2. Take ground transportation from the airport to the Los Muertos Pier in Old Town area of Puerto Vallarta.
3. Take a public “water taxi” from the Los Muertos Pier to Yelapa.
(About 45 minutes and 25 mins from Boca - see Taxi schedule.)

Casa Isabel: October 17th - 23rd, 2008
This quiet, lush and exhilerating hillside retreat has magnificent views of the ocean and provides you with:

• A private, quiet sandy beach, perfect for swimming at any time of the day or night, just steps away, at the bottom of the hill.
• The owner of the center is a friend and benefactor of the Huichol Indian tribe and a collector of their art and jewelry, and most pieces are available for sale.
• The water taxi comes right to the beach below Casa Isabel to pick you up and drop you off.
• For your Safety: Casa Isabel in on a steep hillside with uneven stone pathways making this site unsuitable for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs or has vertigo with heights.
  
• If you wish to go to the center of Yelapa and the broad beach there, you will be walking about 1 mile on a path that goes through town and into the country. 

Los Naranjos: November 14th - 20th, 2008
At the lush jungle retreat of Los Naranjos your stay  is like a Shangrila with it's peaceful, meditative environment.

• A very peaceful, meditative environment, like a Shangrila.
• Beautiful trees and well-manicured land.
• The open main palapa, which houses the kitchen, dining and meeting space is very large, airy, and gorgeous.
• You can be met in Puerto Vallarta at the pier and taken right to Los Naranjos, with horses carrying your bags from the pier to the retreat center.
• There’s a swimming hole on the land, with a small waterfall for those who don’t mind a bit of a climb.
• Note: It’s a 15-30 minute walk through town if you want to swim at the wide beach on the bay.

To get to Yelapa Take a taxi from Puerto Vallarta's International Airport to the Los Muertos pier downtown (20 mins) or to Boca de Tomatlan to the south (45 mins), depending on your arrival time and water taxi schedules:
